Hunger auf Kunst

Wah, today was definitely not the worst day of my life! 🙂 And funny, but the thesis that we discussed this morning, about the things always having their positive sides, today got twice confirmed.

Okay. Let’s say it simple. They usually consider that being an old lady or an unemployed one is too bad. Well, usually it is true – I am the one, I know the thing. But here in Vienna, I tell you, we, those unlucky ones, can still have fun. And that is fun For Free!!! 🙂

Today after the course I went to AMS. (Yes, I am old but still I want to work, because I eat too much, which costs a lot). They couldn’t help me yet to find a job ‘coz that’s not easy in my case and blah-blah-blah. And first I got upset.

But then they offered me a very useful thing – The Kultur Pass. That lets you visit most of cultural events for FREE: museums, theatres, concerts and stuff like that. They have so many partners, you’ll get tired! The idea is that anyone who has no job and is in difficult financial situation, or who receives some social welfare or a minimal retirement pensions, refugees etc., they all have rights to live a normal life, participate in cultural activities, even though they can’t in fact afford it.

I find it really great! I find it even greater since I’m involved! 🙂 I recommend you too to check it out if you could also get such help: https://www.hungeraufkunstundkultur.at

You see? To have no job sometimes is not that bad. Sometimes you are at an advantage in front of those who do 😉
