Madame Tussauds in Vienna!

Finally Madame Tussaud has „bought” a house in Vienna. The people of Vienna, its tourists, the Austrians, the neighbours of the country and the entire Central-Eastern Europe are happy to have the stars closer to them.

Ever since I was a little girl and studied about the British culture and civilisation, I dreamed about visiting this incredible museum.

It is in Vienna now! It came to meet me and all the other far away fans just like me.  I came from Romania; I moved from Romania here in Vienna. Is it a coincidence? Is it a dream come true? I don’t know exactly. What is for sure is that we are both here: the museum and me!

I plan to visit it soon. Will it want to receive me? It is such a special moment for me that I don’t even know if I dare to step there yet. What to wear? Who to photograph first? Should I smile?…

Anyway, according to the Romanian saying: „Daca nu vine Mohamed la munte, vine muntele la Mohamed.” (= If Mohamed doesn’t go to the mountain, then the mountain comes to Mohamed.), I think that this museum came here in Vienna for all the people that wanted to visit London, but didn’t get the chance from this or that reason. So, let’s enjoy Madame Tussaud here in the heart of Europe!
