Five Months in Austria!!

Hi! How are you everybody? I have been in Österreich for so o less 5 months now, I have lived in Vienna and also in a little village near to Vienna called Altlengbach, and how has been my experience? Actually I really like to live in Vienna, except for the fact that everything close so early and Sundays store don’t open, Vienna is an amazing city, you can find the old side and learn about the history of the city, see the really stunning castles, cathedrals and concert halls; but you can also go to the most modern side where you can find malls, games, more modern buildings and it really look like a different city. It’s a really cultural city perfect for knowing new people all over the world and practice your German skills obviously; the city has so many foreign people that you can find social circles of every culture, Asian, Latin, Turkish, etc… People here is really kind and always willing to help you just have to ask for it. A really funny thing that happened to me was that when I was trying to practice my German with people in the street or in any store, after the first phrase, they started to speak in English with me and was a little frustrating because a thought that my German was so bad that no body would take the time to wait until I think and actually answer about whatever we were talking (and probably is truth), but what I discover was that my German wasn’t actually as bad I was just to shy and I couldn’t articulate well what I was saying and people didn’t understand me… but if that’s happen to you keep trying and don’t be shy. Vienna is a beautiful city full of beautiful people, try to take as you can of this experience!!      IMG_20151111_074123808_HDR
