My name is Sarah! I’m from California and am taking the A1.1 course for one month. I am very excited to start learning German in Vienna. This is my fourth time visiting this beautiful city and I can’t get enough of it! I cannot wait to practice my new German language skills around town and with my partner, who happens to be a local! I’m also looking forward to making new friends in class and traveling throughout Europe over the long weekends! The weekend before the course started, I toured Budapest, Hungary with some friends and we had such a good time! Traveling around Europe is very easy when Vienna is your home base; public transportation (trains, busses and planes) can be quite affordable and Vienna is so central that no destination is terribly far away! I have weekend plans to visit Paris, France and Berlin, Germany! I hope to also visit Salzburg in Western Austria if I have some free time! Ciao for now, Sarah <3
