My German course group is a very interesting mix of different nationalities. Fortunately, we don’t have any nationalities or religions that do not match, so the atmosphere in the classroom is very great and the attention stays with learning German. I’m very happy that my classmates, like me, take learning German seriously. Maybe I should say seriously enough as there is also plenty of time to have fun while learning German at the Deutschakademie.

The main three reasons for my group to learn or improve German are the following: to increase their job opportunities, for their studies, or for love (or a combination of these three). For me it is especially the last reason, but it is also a very nice side effect that it will most likely increase my job opportunities if I can speak, write and understand German better.

Yesterday, we were with 7 women (including the teacher) and just 1 guy in the class. Normally, there is another guy there, but I think that our only man today didn’t mind to be surrounded by just women…
