The red one, please!

After all the grammar, all the exercises, homework, presentations, little games and tests, we reached the end of the course. Everything was celebrated at Hanife’s with some traditional Turkish food.

We have all gathered there: all the continents, the entire globe: Cyprus, Turkey, Canada, Poland, Macedonia, Romania, South Africa and Puerto Rico. Ask us something from Geography and we’ll know it for sure.  J

At Hanife’s we had the pleasure to taste Kisir, Manti,  Molehiya, Humus and Grilled Hellim.  All veeeeeeeeeeeery tasty!! When she invited us, she said: „It will be just a little… Just to taste each and check the flavour. ” What do you expect?  A slice of lemmon, a boiled potatoe and some sault, right? Well, look at that!! So much food!! We all have eaten properly and there was still food left.  We finished with Turkish coffee and tea.  Everything was delicious!

While enjoying the food there, I realised the cultural difference that appeared. „Just a little food” in Cyprus and Turkey means so much for other cultures.  A welcomed difference, I’d say!

Mahlzeit!  🙂
