I do not think think anyone who is on a diet or not can deny such a fantastic cake. I mean look at it! Very delicious and sooooo juicy!

I had the honor to eat it 2 weeks ago in a restaurant in Schneeberg. It is called HAUSTORTE and, as far as I understood, it is a traditional Austrian cake. It has cheese, jam, cream, some other fruits cream and … a napkin, as you can see in the photo! 🙂

Is that true that you can eat that only in the mountains? I don’t remember seeing it in other cafeteria. I shall pay more attention from now on.

Anyway, this cake has definitely opened my appetite for trying Austrian cakes. I shall take one by one, piece by piece until I shall get to the great Sachertorte. There are some moments when I wonder if it had been better to actually start with the Sachertorte and afterwards try the others. 🙂

All in all, the sweets of Austria are waiting for me!
