I was looking at many different language schools after I decided that I wanted to learn German in Vienna. DeutschAkademie was within my budget and was highly rated online. I went to visit the school a week before the November course would begin and felt very comfortable and happy in the clean, modern classrooms and reception area. Another thing that I loved about the school was that it is very centrally located. It is in front of the beautiful Wiener Staatsopera and a few minutes from Stephansplatz. A traditional Viennese Würstelstand is a few steps from the entrance to the school. I usually order a snack or lunch from the stand during our class break. Semmel (a traditional Austrian bread) and Curry Wurst (a sausage topped with curry sauce) has been my favorite choice so far, although Käsekrainer (a sausage loaded with melted cheese) is a close second! I can’t wait for more amazing after-class adventures around DeutschAkademie, the best language school in Vienna!
