Which in-house German courses are available at the DeutschAkademie Vienna?

We again offer numerous in-house German courses in Vienna, such as our intensive course or semi-intensive evening course.

What is the difference between Intensive Course and Semi-Intensive Course?

The intensive course lasts 4 weeks, from Monday to Thursday, 3 hours per day.

The semi-intensive course goes 8 weeks, always twice a week, either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.

Both course formats can currently be taken online or in-house. Please note that the semi-intensive in-house course is currently only available in the evening.

I live abroad/ in another city. Can I join your online German course?

Our online live courses take place via Zoom. You can join these courses from anywhere in the world and all you need is a stable internet connection and a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Can I start in-house and then switch to online (or vice versa)?

It is not possible to switch between online and in-house courses during a course level. We guarantee a maximum of 12 participants in a course, so we need to know which course format you would like to attend at the time of booking. However, after each course level you are free to choose whether to continue learning online or in-house.

Example:

You can do A1.1. in-house but A1.2. then online (or vice versa).

If I cannot attend, can I make up the lessons at another time instead?

Unfortunately this is not possible. We guarantee a maximum of 12 participants per group and therefore it is not possible for you to join another group. However, we do offer free tutoring, which you can use to ask questions about the topics you missed. A teacher will be happy to answer your questions and help you.

Are there language courses for work?

Do you offer a trial lesson?

We guarantee a maximum of 12 participants per course. Since our courses are usually fully booked, we cannot offer trial lessons. However, we do offer a money-back guarantee, so you can be sure that you are not taking any risks.
