My fridge – Mein Kühlschrank

So on Friday that is started – what everybody wants to skip from her German studies…yeah, the „derdiedas“ misery. But don’t worry! We can do it together! We start step-to-step and we have many many help: a good teacher, a good book and lot of homerwork to practice…and if your brain brake off,  just look at your little little „cheatsheet“ on your fridge 😛 But psst, that’s a secret 🙂

(Thank you Deutschakademie!)

Vienna on ZWEI (two) wheels

Today was a perfect day for bicycling! Sunny, warm and free :-). And what do a good student if the class is cancelled? Organising some program what is typical Wiener: bicycling in the Prater Park by Citybike!

In Vienna the green thinking is really strong, so I also had to try this kind of feeling. There is no more relaxing then riding a bike in a huge forest and here there is a big tradition – as I realised – of chilling in a park. I just can offer this kind of time spending, once a time everybody should try it who comes to Vienna!

Bingo day

Today, that was the day of numbers: phonenumbers, years, bingo game and so on… There was a lesson with 10 person with 1 teacher for 3 hours long. And on Friday we will have 6 hours of German learning…

because tomorrow everybody has 1 DAY OFF, there will be a national holiday in Austria! That is the real bingo! In Vienna we have many things to do at holiday time: walking in a park, sightseeing, festivals. I am here in Vienna since June and I have enjoyed so many good programs here: watching a movie at the Karlsplatz, listening on the Donauinselfest so good concerts! I can not wait for tomorrow to join to a good program and practice my brand new German skills! 🙂

Sehr gut, danke!

Yes, that was our mood today!

But what about the weather? It was just “So lala!” – as we have learnt on the lesson. This is a typical Wiener answer, like the typical “say goodbye” is “Baba!” As our teacher says: Sounds like a “babytalk”

So we started to think like an Austrian and talk like a baby

Yeah, we are now babies in German language, but I think when we finish the course – we will be adults! 😉
