I know that there are already many blogs written about the Austrian National Library. Nevertheless, I just can’t not to write a few words about this place. The reason is that I could not imagine that library could be so incredible!

I first visited it in the last Sunday during the open day. Unfortunately, it was pretty crowded, so the unique spirit and quite atmosphere of library itself was ruined. Anyway, it did not spoil my visit and obviously I knew what I was getting into in a free day.

In Vienna I found everything wonderful, and this place is not an exception. This is a huge beautiful  hall with a numerous amount of old books with  hardcovers. There you can also find sculptures, four Earth and the starry sky globes, old maps and many ladders near bookcases. it is impossible not to notice unbelievable paintings on the ceiling and walls. All these decorations give this place a unique atmosphere. I love Vienna for such amazing places! ♥

I can highly recommend this place for visit, especially, for book-lovers!
