X-mas in the air

Hi guy… its me again, the Kufstein guy… Or you can call me Shan. By the way today whole day I was wondering how would my name be spelled in German and guess what?? I asked the course instructor ( Kurs Lehrer if I am not wrong) and found out it’s the same. Anyways, today Vienna treated me very nicely as always. Actually I really like this time of the year. Winter is approaching, jingle bells around, Christmas market ( Weinachtmarkt) all gives extra charm to this beautiful city in the heart of Europe. As its my first year in Vienna, I was shocked to see that Christmas markets are already working. That’s quite amazing I must say. Like, each evening from now onwards till Christmas, you have something great to do. If you are free early from work and want to socialize out with friends, I would definitely suggest the Christmas markets. Its almost in every part of the center. Although not all of them have started yet, but one can see the set-up of the markets already. So, I was quite curious whole day to visit one of the market near Opera (Oper). The visit was quite refreshing after the hectic day followed by the German course. Actually, the Deutschakademie is located in center which makes it really convenient to be anywhere in Vienna. So to sum up my day, I really enjoyed today in Vienna because of the activities going on in the city because of new year and Christmas approaching.

I have a picture for you guys. The market near Stephansdom. Unfortunately, I do not have a DSLR 😉
