DeutschAkademie Wien is a waff education partner
We are certified as a wien-cert German language school and are therefore an officially recognised educational institution by waff and a member of the waff Employment Promotion Fund. As a participant, you can therefore benefit from a discount of up to 90% on your German course.
What are waff and wien-cert?
The Vienna Employment Promotion Fund (waff) has set itself the task of promoting employees in Vienna by supporting training and further education programmes.
Together with the Austrian Institute for Vocational Education Research (öibf), waff checks the quality of educational programmes through the quality assurance procedure for Viennese educational institutions (‘wien-cert’).
Institutions that pass this test are accepted as waff partners and are therefore eligible for funding. The DeutschAkademie has successfully passed this procedure and is therefore wien-cert.
How to apply for the waff grant
You must fulfil two conditions in order to apply for the grant:
- Main residence in Vienna
- Main employment relationship
You must then complete the following steps:
1. Registration
Register free of charge at German course registration.
2. Placement test
Complete our placement test.
3. Reserve a course
Book your course and request a quote.
4. Contact waff
Contact waff with your cost estimate.
Tip: Make an appointment for a counselling session with waff as early as possible, as waiting times can vary greatly.
Can I have a course subsidised retrospectively?
If you have already paid for your German course, it is still possible to receive a waff grant.
We recommend that you first contact the waff to get all the information you need.
