Today I can definitely say that almost three weeks of the course are done. Still, I have only the best impressions about my German classes and DeutschAkademie in toto. To my mind, it is just getting better and better every day. Now, I feel comfortable in using German both in oral and written forms. The classes give confidence so that I am not afraid to speak German anymore.

Last Thursday we had an engrossing class. We were talking about Austria. Anita, our teacher, came up with a game, thanks to which we had a desire to learn more about the country we live in. Then, we were told about Austrian regions, government, famous people etc. I have never thought that such boring things can be so entertaining. To tell the truth, such ‘without activities’ classes have always depressed me. But that lesson was great for sure.

So what exactly was learned during the class? Please do not think that I am stupid, but I did not know who governs Austria. Alexander Van der Bellen and Sebastian Kurz, I am so sorry 🙂 Nevertheless, now I know what are their main functions. Also, it was very unexpected to find out that Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of my best actors, is from Austria. Yes, as you noticed, I am not that type of fans that know everything about their idols.

To sum it up, I would like to say thank you to DeutschAkademie not only for my German language knowledge improvement but also for mind elevation.

What are the advantages of taking a German course? I can easily say that everyone has his own motivation for that. To talk about me, I have the following reasons to do that.

First of all, it is very important to understand the language of the country you live in. Without knowing this language you cannot communicate and live freely but only survive. Is there are someone who wants to have such a life? NO ONE!

Secondly, the German language can open up a ton of career opportunities for me. Knowing at least two languages can make me competitive among other applicants.

Thirdly, I am a big fan of movies. I like to watch the premieres as soon as they appear in cinemas. Without knowing the German language it is very difficult to understand what is going on.

Fourthly (and I think the essential reason), my daughter goes to kindergarten where they speak only German. As she has just started to speak, most of her words are in German. So, I need to know the language to understand my own kid. T

The next reason is friends that cannot speak any other language. That is why I want to be sure that I can communicate with people without embarrassment.

And lastly, if there is a possibility to learn a new language, no matter which one exactly, why not to take the opportunity to do that?

The next important question is where to study language? I spent much time googling German classes in Vienna. Finally, a friend of my husband told him about DeutschAkademie. So my husband started to study here. As he 100% liked it, I decided to give it a try. It has been almost two weeks since I visit DeutschAkademie that impressed me a lot! It has its own approach to learning. We study almost everything, including grammar, vocabulary etc. But most of all I am so happy that I have the very best mentor in the world. I do not cease to admire her. When our lesson is over, I look forward to the next one.

To sum it up, I would like to say that DeutschAkademie will definitely go deep into your soul! You just need to make a step towards your self-development!

Teacher of foreign languages is one of the most interesting and cognitive professions all over the world. Its representatives should not only speak fluently but also know a lot of things. In our case, the teacher of German language should know the culture and traditions of Germany and Austria. Besides, a good teacher should pass on his knowledge to students and instill in them the love for the language.

Sometimes, there is a situation when you cannot discover your talent for learning a language. In this case, you need an excellent teacher to help you. Thank God, this is the very teacher I met in DeutschAkademie! I encourage all the teachers to take an example from her. Her name is Anita. She is a rather young and attractive girl. To my mind, Anita knows German perfectly. She is dedicated to what she does and cares about her students. Moreover, she enjoys teaching us! Every lesson we find out something interesting and new. Anita develops in us the desire to know German better. She is very mature, patient and wise. That is why when she meets a lot of challenges and hardships in her work, she does not give up.

To sum it up, I would like to say that Anita is the teacher by vocation! I always look forward to the next German class. Anita is the best German teacher I have ever had. That is why I will always appreciate her work.

The first day is already over, and the only thing I can say is that it was very impressive. To tell the truth, I was expecting something good, but not THE BEST! Our teacher, Anita, made everything so that we can feel ourselves confidently. I liked that no one judged us for made mistakes. Furthermore, we were told to make as many mistakes as we wanted to. Can you guess what this pushed us towards? We were trying not to do any mistakes, and this definitely helped!

One more thing that I liked was the atmosphere in our intercultural group. My classmates are from Iran, Hungary, Romania, Russia, China, Spain, Serbia, and Ukraine. All of my new friends can easily communicate with each other without significant misunderstandings. From one hand – we are all different, but from another hand – we are the same. And the main thing that unites us is the desire to learn and improve German. Let’s develop ourselves together!
